Job Description for Family Pastor
- Works with church leaders and staff through a team concept of ministry toward fulfilling common goals and objectives.
- Full- time position (40 plus hours)
- Devotes best portion of time and energy to equipping parents and lay people to teach and train youth (teens and children) to be fruitful and productive followers of Jesus.
- Assisting with church-wide events
- Assisting with the management and oversight of our facilities
- Sunday Children’s Church Church Classes
- Sunday Nurseries
- Wednesday 412 IMPACT Youth Group
- Wednesday FIYAH (3 yr. – 5 th Grade)
- Wednesday Nurseries
- Child- Check in system
- Oversee Youth Children’s Directors
- Ministry classes are staffed with teachers and helpers
- Children’s Check-In Station staffed for all Wednesday Sunday services
- Enlist and equip teachers and helpers; provide training opportunities as needed
- Evaluate implement curriculum that aligns with FBC doctrine beliefs
- To assist ,help, and organize many of the sport ministries for the community.
- Leads various TFL classes when needed
- Organize, assist and lead the many activities as needed.
- Assist with assimilation of new families into the church
- Assist the Outreach Pastor in visitation
- Assist the Teaching Pastor in filling the pulpit on Sundays as needed
- Scheduled teacher on our Truth For Living (Wednesday Nights)
- Assist locking up the facilities after functions throughout the week.
- Housing: Duplex
- No Rent
- Only pay utilities

- Minimum -Bachelor Degree in Bible or ministry
- 5-10 years in pastoral ministry experience
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
