Elizabeth Urbanowicz has released another video and it is another great one! It’s about being aware that there are many unbiblical ideas that creep into the church and Christian schools. Just because something is labeled “Christian” doesn’t mean that it is safe for us to believe whatever comes from it.
In this video, she addresses two things that we need to make our kids aware of. The first is how to read the Bible in context. She suggests having your children memorize longer passages rather than verses to help prevent taking verses out of context. This is excellent advice! The second is to teach them to recognize the difference between descriptive passages and prescriptive passages. This is also really important to know as you study the Bible.
