The theme for our missionary conference this year was “It is our vocation to live the mission”. It really marked up there amongst the best with good speakers, many agencies represented and giving workshops, many participating (students and outsiders), well organized and run, and very good responses!
Each CoxNews I’m going to highlight one of our families from our group. This week it is Mathias, Leticia, Lucas, and Julia. They are in their 3rd year at the Seminary and their 2nd year in our group. They also have changed their weekend ministry and are faced with the challenge of leading the youth in the midst of seeking a new pastor. One of the areas that we have been working with them is in discipline. Lucas can be a handful and we are trying to help them to be Biblically consistent.
Family news:
Mirian & I – Mirian is in the US with our new grandson Alec and Richard and I are making it on our own!
Kevin – In the US raising support but mainly went there to accompany/help my parents.
Vini, Stef, Juliana & Helena – Repairing from water damage, ministry, getting ready for a big evangelists gathering, and baby Mark due soon!
JP, Kelly & Alec – Baby Alec was born! Right now Mirian, JP’s Mom, and Kevin are there!
Richard – Many last-minute setbacks for camp but he did a great job in leading it!
