We just landed in Guayaquil Ecuador after a SWAT training week in Ohio with a team of 13. It was a great week. One of our Ecuadorian team made the statement that he also wanted to be a missionary! What a blessing! I translated for him as he shared testimony in a supporting church on Sunday AM.
Jeff went to pick up his truck at the police base. The President of Ecuador was there for a ceremony to give ammunition to the officers. Jeff was able to give his drivers and security team a Bible and then give one to his secretary to give to the President! What a blessing to be used by God in unplanned ways.
We then received a request to meet with the General Director of the Ecuador prison system who was in town. He met us at the airport and said very similar words as Acts 16, “Come and help us!” We were able to give Bibles to him and his team and to pray with him and his security team. Amongst them were 2 men with whom Jeff had met and shared Bibles as they were detained in the police prison in Quito. The Lord truly directs our steps! I can’t wait to see how God will use us as a team!
Our 5,000 police Bibles came in!!! We are only $2000 off our goal to have them completely paid for.
We have a New York mission team from two supporting churches coming in July.
We have new teammates arriving on August 15.
Thank you for praying with us!
