At a special Memorial Day service, Faith Bible Church honored those who
selflessly serve our community daily to protect our families. Special
recognition commenced with a military color guard carrying both the
American and the Christian flag. The long-held tradition of the color
guard represents respect and honor for those who serve, both past and
present. Local first responders, military, and state representatives
were recognized before the congregation and prayed
for as they continue to serve. In attendance were Senator Bob
Andrzejczak, Assemblymen Bruce Land & Assemblymen Matthew Milan, and
various members of the Vineland Police Department, Fire Department, and
Paramedic Services.
Also in attendance was a special teen, Jake
DeSimone, who survived a motor vehicle accident last October due to the
quick responses of Cumberland County First Responders. On a weekend
where Americans celebrate the lives of those sacrificed for freedom,
Faith Bible Church wanted to honor those who continue to put their lives
on the line each day. A special luncheon was prepared for those honored
and their families as a way to thank them for their services. Faith
