Living a Spiritual Life in a Physical World

Our text is Romans 12:1  "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship."

A living sacrifice is the picture of a born again person who has dedicated their entire life to God’s use, in light of the wonderful blessing God has given through his salvation.  It is a life that says, “Lord, you have saved me entirely, without merit of my own, and when I was your enemy.  Therefore, the only reply that I can possibly have is to surrender the remainder of my life, in all of its aspects, to your service.
