  • Toddlers-Walking to 3 years old

FBC is committed to helping transform our children into dynamic disciples who know, love, and desire to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.  Our Nurseries are staffed by loving, experienced care givers who realize the importance of this ministry not only for the children but also for the parents. Toddlers learn of Jesus’ love through songs, play, Bible stories, and other action-oriented experiences.

We offer childcare at all of our regular services.

Promotion schedule:

The following is the breakdown of each nursery and the guideline which would constitute each child’s promotion to their designated class:

  1.          Infant Nursery – A child will remain in the infant nursery until that child is able to walk without any assistance.  For this age group, these children will be promoted to the Toddler Nursery on an as needed basis.  Example: Johnny starts walking in October. He will be promoted to the Toddler Nursery as soon as possible.
  2.          Toddler Nursery – A child will remain in the toddler nursery until that child is “potty “trained and is at least 2 years of age.  Example: Sammy is “potty” trained at 20 months. However he will continue to stay in the Toddler nursery until he has reached the age of 2. He will then be promoted on the designated quarterly month (September, December, March, June).
  3.           2’s &3’s Class – A child will remain in the 2&3’s class until that child has reached the age of four.  Example: Mitchell turns 4 in November; he will remain in the 2-3’s until Promotion Sunday that following June.*Note: If a child in this class has an accident, the parent will be called upon to change his child during the service.
  4.          4&5’s Class (Pre-Kindergarten/ Kindergarten) – A child will remain in the 4&5’s class until that child is entering first grade in the upcoming year.  Example: Mitchell turns 6 on November 1, but did not enter first grade as he missed the cut-off date.  He will remain in the 4&5’s until he enters first grade the following school year. *Note:       The cut-off date for promotion is based on the Vineland School District system .  This is presently October 1st.
